I don’t know why anyone would ever leave Sedona willingly, unless of course they’re on a road trip with other people with things to do and places to be. #ugh. At least we stuck around a bit for the day!

Sedona, AZ On the way to Scottsdale, there’s an arts & crafts shop called the Tlaquepaque Shopping Center. It is the product of a dreamer named Abe Miller, who wanted to create a living artists community.

Sedona, AZAfter some retail therapy at the TLAQ, we made our way to the Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Sedona, AZ The Chapel is a Roman Catholic chapel built into the Red Rocks. It’s considered one of the “Seven Man Made Wonders of Arizona” and home to a vortex.

Sedona, AZNot only was the architecture unique, so was the foliage. I’m not from the Southwest, so I’m pretty unfamiliar with cactus, but this one really piqued our collective interest.
